The following information is intended for those Fourth Degree Knights that are interested in joining the Assembly 2260 Knights of Columbus Color Corps Honor Guard. The Assembly 2260 Honor Guard is a proud, professional group of Fourth Degree Sir Knights that willingly give their time to ceremonies for Catholic Church Services, Wakes and Funerals for Fourth Degree Knights and also Selected Community Events. The number of ceremonies we participate in varies on a yearly basis. One recent Fraternal Year, the Honor Guard participated in 32 events, consisting of: Confirmations, an Ordination; a Rededication of Sacred Heart (Shawnee) Church; Masses for the Parade of Roses, Holy Week, Christmas, Men Under Construction, and May Day; several Wakes and Funerals and a Special Olympics Parade. It is expected that not every Honor Guard member would be able to make all the ceremonies we are requested to participate in so Assembly 2260 hopes to have a large enough Honor Guard Roster members so that we can provide adequate participation in all events.
